The report shows the work being done to establish a coherent regional offer, to reconcile learning with jobs and economic growth in Glasgow and to expand access to life-changing higher education. Scottish Funding Council Outcome Agreement 2019-20 for Glasgow region (City of Glasgow College, Glasgow Clyde College, Glasgow Kelvin College). The regional outcome agreement aims to show how glasgowColleges will proceed: in August 2014, the Scottish Government published the latest appointments from the College Sector Board: Ministerial Guidance 2014. Glasgow Colleges presented the REGIONAL MINT strategy on Wednesday 21 October 2015. The launch was the beginning of regional universities` commitment to the development of a strong MINT talent pipeline for learners of all ages, backgrounds and abilities. The main objectives of the Glasgow Regional Strategy are in the following links: the post-16 Education Act (Scotland) Act 2013 contains provisions for the definition of principles of good governance for the higher education sector. Pending its entry into force, the CFS has asked regional chairs to convene a steering group to develop a code of good governance for Scottish colleges. The steering group members were representative of the diversity of the higher education sector in Scotland and drew on the experience of regional presidents, headteachers, staff and student representatives, unions, NEIs and secretaries of state.
